Kateryna Kisten is an award-winning Ukrainian theatre and film actress, born in Kyiv in 1979. She graduated with honors from the Kyiv National University of Cinema, Theatre and Television and has been a member of the Theatre on Pechersk in Kyiv since 2000. She has performed around 100 roles in theatre, film and television, including leading roles in productions of Medea, The Seagull, The Master and Margarita, August: Osage County and Hamlet, among others. She is widely known in Ukraine for her role as the sister of President Zelensky in the television series Servant of the People.

Kisten has participated in numerous international theatre projects and festivals across Sweden, Germany, Poland and Georgia. She is a Honoured Artist of Ukraine and a recipient of the Order of Princess Olga, III degree. Her artistic practice also includes choreography, singing, Argentine tango, film dubbing, dramaturgy, directing and acting education.
